MapOfTheWoods So, I thought it was warm in Australia. How is it that they churn out such cold-sounding bands when the weather is so nice? Post-doom, sludge, noise, drone... all in one track. It'll take you for a ride, but you'll be tied up and stuffed in a trunk on the way there.

Perth's Skullcave combine elements of doom, post-punk and sludge to create uniquely heavy and progressive music.

'Bleak' was written over 12 months to try and describe with sound, the experience of an anxiety attack. From the challenging and endless lows, to deafening self-deprecation and darkness, finally followed by a dizzying and lasting sense of hope.

Track Name: Bleak - Live at The Dread
Your passion died with you

Past your prime so many years before

They'll learn you've lied, sooner than you know

You'll wake up old in a nursing home, paralysed by a television

Talking of good times, reminding them how impotent you are

In your last breath you'll see how little of yourself you gave away

You were a hack, your loyalty proved nothing, nothing, nothing
