Wake up, Wake up the monster, Dining only on what we have left, Feed 'em me... Lets stop, Stop by the roadside, Laughing only because of regret Reach the trees Hold your breath Count to three Come with me, To the water, Hold me down, mould the clouds, come with me to the water, help me drown, No excuse! So can you please stop crying Cause i don't live there anymore, I left the smoke, As it engulfs my shadow, I left my monster at the door I left my monsters here, I left my monsters at the door, Come with me, To the water, Hold me down, Mould the clouds, Come with me to the water, Help me drown, Oh come help me drown!

about

“Under The Sun” is the third upfront track to be lifted from the debut album by stoner/groove rock band InTechnicolour. Newly signed to Big Scary Monsters, the five-piece will be releasing the LP in early 2020.

Brighton’s InTechnicolour combine haunting, powerful vocals with suspenseful, progressive clean sections and anthemic, unforgettable choruses, landing somewhere between the slack desert-groove of Kyuss and Karma to Burn. However, their influences don't end there, as their penchant for combining simple yet deeply satisfying riffs with a dynamic vocal style calls to mind the sounds of Baroness, Gojira and Mastodon through to Drenge.

A tour de force on the live stage, in the last year-or-so they have supported Black Peaks as well as heading out on the road as part of Upset Magazine's 'About To Break' tour alongside fellow rising rock acts Bitch Falcon, Drones and Haggard Cat.

“Under The Sun” locks into a propulsive, riff-heavy groove from the outset, showcasing a slightly more sparse and hypnotic leaning from the band on one of their most immediately accessible and relatable tracks yet.
Frontman Tobie Anderson elaborates on the track: “My lyrics on Under The Sun deal with mental health, and specifically the weird and wonderful juxtaposition of feeling depressed but at the same time not wanting to feel anything else. Not wanting someone to help you get out of the place you are in, mentally, but instead you would rather that they join you”, says Tobie Anderson. “I suppose it’s about having company and feeling lonely when you’re in one of those headspaces. The need for someone else to empathise with your nonsense.”

Gaining a reputation for their entertaining videos, InTechnicolour are set to accompany “Under The Sun” with another attention-grabbing clip on release date.
